U-10 Girls

LSC 1 vs. Mason 1

Our girls participated in a soccer battle. It was a joy to see them attacking and defending during the game, however with more work I believe these  girls are going to be very good soccer players. Quinn scored for us, good defense and goaltending were the highliights of the game. We will continue working on spreading out and passing when we are attacking. All of us have to remember to always go up and down the field as a unit. Good job girls, you are making good progress.

A Brief Primer on the New Schedule system

It has come to my attention that some have found the new schedule layout to be somewhat confusing. But once you spend a little time familiarizing yourself with the new layout you should find it to be far more informative and flexible than before.

First of all, for those who are not familiar with the new page layout, the full schedules are accessed by clicking the link at the bottom of the "schedules" component (which displays the next 3 events listed as a sort of preview) on the left hand side of the page just below the "main menu" buttons. Once there, you'll see the default schedule view which is set to "flat view". You can change how the schedules are displayed by clicking on any of the four choices at the top which are "flat view" (the current default view) "weekly view", "daily view" and lastly "categories".  If  you're in a hurry and would like to see when the next game is scheduled for a particular team, the category view is an excellent way to find the information you need. You'll see a list of all the teams and you'll also notice that they are color categorized, signified by a small strip of color just to the left of the team. Just experiment with the various view and familiarize yourself with the new arrangement and you'll see that while it may be a big change from what you're used to, it's a change for the better. Thanks for your time
