Jose Lopez' philosophy of coachingOne of the top coaches in the state of Michigan shares his visionAfter 12 years of coaching kids, I am still learning everyday the importance of the coach as a “Role model figure” to your children, and it is my intent to continue to do so. My general coaching philosophy is to be a facilitator, that is to push players closer to their potential, not necessarily to be professional players. Moreover, I stress the fact that academics count, and support them. All of my life I have been able to balance school and soccer and I think that is a reason that today I am still coaching soccer and have not burned out yet
