A season full of teaching and learning the game of Soccer
U-9 Boys
According to coach Tim, the boys' season has been excellent.
Defensively the boys learned to attack and contain in
the opponents' side of the field. They carry the
ball through the sidelines and kept the ball away
from the middle of the field. They also learned to make quick
passes. We are very proud of our boys, great job and
great future!!!
U-11 Boys
Coach Omar believes the boys had a chance to
win every game they played. They were vgiven the opportunity to
play many different positions and they were taught to
use their left foot when needed. The team played in
the hardest division of USSF
and gained valuable experience.
U-12 Boys
Coach Derek worked in improving passing
and the boys responded by playing a pretty and
effective style of soccer.. Team Chemestry was
great. The defense continue to play well and the
goaltender demosntrated once again he is the best at his age
around the league, good job Collin. Coach Derek looks
forward to having a great team in the fall.
U-13 Boys
Coach Jose worked the boys hard and taught them lots
of technical and tactical soccer skills. The boys continued to
play many different positions in the field and
different line ups. These will be ready to carry their high
school teams in the very near future.
U-14 Boys
These boys are very special to LSC because they are they
first class to enter high school soccer in the
fall of 2006. We believe we trained them well and
high school coaches should be very happy with the type of player
we trained. We wish them all success in the field and
in the classroom. These boys are the ones who
inspired the community and the ones who
first created LSC.
U-10 Girls
Our girls learned basic defensive skills such as
pressure and contain. They practiced how to use the sidelines and
how not to give up the ball in our defensive end. They played
very good competition and met the challenge well. These
girls are battle tested and will do fine in the future.
U-11 Girls
Depleted by injuries the girls played with great
heart and made good strides as a team and
individually. They gave some of Lansing's best teams
a run for their money. We played much better as a defensive
unit and made it difficult on opponents.
